Cause: The Check-ins app is not loading and non-responsive
Solution: Restart the Check-ins app
1) Unlock the Kiosk using the button below
2) Double-tap the home button and swipe the Check-ins app away the close it
3) Tap on the purple Check-Ins app icon to reopen
4) Lock again using the button below.

Try pressing the home button on the right to turn the iPad on.
If that doesn't work, the iPad is either frozen or the battery is dead.
1) Use the button below to reboot the iPad. You should see the Apple logo within 30 seconds and see the iPad boot up.
2) If you don't see the Apple logo, check that it is plugged in. Unplug & replug all connections to be sure they're fully plugged in.
3) After ensuring all is plugged in, press the home button. If you get a red battery icon, it's plugged in but needs to charge before booting up. (If you get a battery icon that shows a power cable, it is not receiving power.)
