Prep the email
Log in to Mailchimp and go to Campaigns
Find the last Shiloh News that was sent and choose Replicate from the menu
Edit the name to remove 'copy' and update the date
The To field shouldn’t change. It will always be PCO People
Update the From field if needed. If changing be sure to update the email as well (the email will be sent from this address and any replies will go there too).
Fill in your subject or you can just use 'Shiloh News'.
Under the Content section, click Edit Design to open the editor

Click on the text on the left to open the editor pane on the right side
Delete all text below "Hi *|FNAME|*," then write or paste in your new content
You may then have to highlight your pasted text and click the Clear Styles in the toolbar so it formats correctly
Read through the content for typos or major grammatical errors and make any corrections
Clear Styles will remove any text formatting like bold, italics or underlines. Be sure to add them back in if needed.
Insert any links needed by highlighting the text and clicking the link button (ctrl/cmd + k), then paste in the link and hit Insert.
You can use the Link Checker under the Preview menu to easily check each link in the email
Also under the Preview menu, you can send a test email to yourself or someone else for a proofread.
Schedule or send
When you're done editing, hit Save & Close and then Continue in the upper right corner. You'll be taken back to the main editing page for this Campaign.
When everything is all set, use the Schedule or Send buttons in the top right to send the email!
Emails are usually scheduled to go out between 11a and 12p. If you're getting to this before then, schedule it for then. If you're doing this around or later than those times, just send right away.
